Gardner's was started back in 1974 with Bill Gardner in Fort Covington New York. His son, Richard Gardner, worked for him part time while having a career in law enforcement. When Richard retired in 2005 he purchased the business from his father and creating what you know today as Gardner's Tax Service. Bill continued to work for his son
Gardner's was started back in 1974 with Bill Gardner in Fort Covington New York. His son, Richard Gardner, worked for him part time while having a career in law enforcement. When Richard retired in 2005 he purchased the business from his father and creating what you know today as Gardner's Tax Service. Bill continued to work for his son right up until the day of his passing. Rich is still hands on with his business and employs two tax preparers/bookkeepers, and a receptionist. Taya Pryce has been doing taxes for 14 years. She at one time worked at the office full time but after getting a job with the Town she became an independent contractor with Gardner’s. She does many of the larger tax returns with complications, however when we get backed up at the office she isn’t afraid to load up with drop off returns to help us out. She is truly a life saver for us in the tax season.
